Air conditioning ruins date night

I have 3 children under the age of several, a dog and a pressing house with a pressing yard. I work from home and my husband frequently needs to travel for his task, however life is rather hectic, and it’s often strenuous for my husband and I to spend any quality time together. The two of us attempt a date night at least once per week. The two of us correctly need to cancel because a single of the kids is sick, work requirements or lack of a babysitter. Last weekend, all of us finally managed to go out together for an night. The two of us made reservations at an upscale steakhouse and planned to see a movie afterward. Wanting to look nice for our date, I purchased myself a current dress and a pair of heels. Since it’s the middle of July and the outside temperature is always in the mid eighties, I chose a sleeveless, lightweight dress and didn’t bother with a overcoat. The hour all of us stepped inside the steakhouse, I knew I’d made a mistake. It was positively freezing. I noticed that all of the staff were wearing long pants and long-sleeved shirts. I started shivering before I even sat down. My husband and I ended up situated in the direct line of a single of the cooling vents. Extremely cold air was blowing straight at us. I asked if all of us could be relocated however the steakhouse was entirely full. I used my napkin as a blanket over my lap and ordered tepid coffee. My husband and I ate as abruptly as possible. The two of us were in a pressing hurry to escape the overuse of the a/c; Unluckyly, all of us encountered the same complication at the Regal Cinema. I loaded up on the paper hand towels from the bathroom and set them over my legs however I still nearly froze to death. I don’t understand why businesses that cater to the public set such a low control equipment setting that it’s uncomfortable. The two of us are dressed for the weather outside. It didn’t occur to me to bring along my Winter coat to protect myself from the air conditioning.
