Annoying smart control unit with low battery

I recently had a brand new control unit installed in our house. I have lived in our new beach house for about 15 years and our outdated control unit was really 10 years older than that so it’s actually time for an upgrade. I thought it might be a great proposal to do some research on the newest technology and control units, and after doing some online research I found that smart control units are the way of the future. You can control the temperature of your beach house on your smart PC. I don’t have to worry about decreasing the air filters and other repair because the app on your PC reminds you. So I called a local HVAC supplier and they installed the smart control unit for me. However, I think the HVAC corporation that installed our smart control unit didn’t think what they were doing. Now I’ve had our smart control unit for about multiple weeks and it won’t stop battaching with a low battery alert. There’s no way I have a low battery but I can’t get a hold of anyone at the local HVAC supplier and I really don’t think what to do. I reached out to the manufacturer of the smart control unit and I can’t get a response either. I think either the smart control unit was not installed officially or I have a faulty device. I’m starting to get annoyed and wish I had our outdated control unit; Maybe I should just go back in time and never get the smart control unit installed.
