Finding and sealing exterior gaps saves on the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C costs

As I am current to residing up north, the weather hasn’t been the easiest thing to get used to.

Unlike the people, the food and the culture, I have found the Winter time weather to be just strenuous on myself and others and our family.

The weather conditions is so completely odd to what I am accustomed to. Other than the Winter time weather, I am finding a lot to love about this section of the country. It’s just the weather and the constant Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating that is getting to me. Never in our life have I been so reliant on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C to keep warm. But even when I have the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating cranked, our lake house doesn’t feel cozy at all. The first Winter time both of us were here, I thought this was due to myself and others just not being accustomed to the cold. This year, however, I am making sure the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C people have a nice look at the gas furnace. I’m also being proactive in order to make the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating as efficient as possible. I’m doing this by sealing the lake house entirely slender and replacing worn weather stripping. I’m also adding some insulation to the attic. Right away, I found multiple windows that were not officially sealed and insulated. I guess that was a major cause for the drafty chilly both of us felt all Winter time last year. I even went so far as to have current storm doors and windows installed. This winter, I’m not expecting the sizable heating bills I had experienced. Hopefully, by sealing up the lake house entirely tight, both of us will find that cozy warm Heating, Ventilation, and A/C experience both of us want at a significant savings.
