I had to respond to a call at the fitness center

I had to go to the shop to pick up parts to fix the problem, but I was back to the fitness center in less than an hour

Wednesday morning I came to work and the first job on the schedule was a furnace repair. The fitness center on Green Street was having trouble with the furnace and they called our heating and air conditioning repair company for help. We installed the new furnace a couple of years ago and they have used our services since then. I went to the fitness center to investigate the problem. The place was closed when I arrived and I had to wait for the manager to unlock the door. It was my first time responding to a service call at the fitness center. When I saw the manager pull up in her car, I immediately recognized the face. It was an old friend from high school that I had not seen in about five years. I could tell that she recognized my face as well. We had a quick hug and then we were down to business. Cheryl took me into the building and showed me the room where the furnace is located. I spent some time checking all of the furnace parts before I located the issue. I had to go to the shop to pick up parts to fix the problem, but I was back to the fitness center in less than an hour. I repaired the furnace and everything was fixed by lunchtime. I had a few minutes to spare, so Cheryl and I sat in the cafe and talked. We enjoyed a blueberry and banana smoothie while we caught up on the last five years.
