All of us finally have come through what is the toughest section of the year for me.
I live in a section of the country where the heat is a big, large deal.
For a more than three month stretch, the lot of us experience near triple digit heat every single afternoon. If it was just the heat, that would be a single thing. However, there is an additional component that simply compounds the effects of the unbearable heat. That would be the wet humidity. It is odor filled and hot plus thick around these parts a lot. That means lots of HVAC use. But, the advantage is what I’m experiencing now. The rest of the year is epic as far as the weather is accounted for. Our HVAC heat pump is perfectly capable of anything the mild winter can throw at us. And the lot of us get so much sunshine plus bright yellow skies to boot. However, without the heat pump, our summertime seasons would be miserable. One thing I suppose the lot of us all might take for granted is how the HVAC also balances the humidity in our homes. It does this without us even having to do a single little thing other than turn on the a/c. Balancing the humidity in our homes is an appealing byproduct of the HVAC cooling process. To cool our homes, the heat pump actually removes heat energy from the inside air plus exhausts it. As it does this, the HVAC is also extracting moisture from the inside air as well. So that humidity is being sleepy outside the house. Without this amazing benefit of a/c, the two of us would all be fighting mold and also mildew far more than the two of us do.
