I was lucky that my dog was with me on the walk
My dog and I were walking down the street one day and I was approached by an HVAC repair person. The guy was looking for directions to an address in the neighborhood. I tried to explain the correct route, but my dog was acting very agitated. I gave the guy some good directions and my dog calmed down after the HVAC truck disappeared. A few minutes later, the same truck pulled up next to me again. This time the driver of the truck wanted me to hop in and give him step-by-step instructions. I thought it was very strange that the HVAC repair person wanted me to give him directions. I refused to get into the truck and my dog started barking, growling, and snarling. I told the HVAC technician that my dog might bite him if he didn’t leave. My dog wasn’t doing anything wrong, and I wanted the guy to be scared. He was acting creepy. When I got home, I told my mom about the HVAC repair person. She asked me to describe the guy. That’s when I found out that the creepy guy driving the truck wasn’t an HVAC repairman at all. The guy was wanted by the police. I was lucky that my dog was with me on the walk. Sparky knew the man was bad news and that was the reason why he was growling and making snarling sounds. My dog was doing the right thing. He was alerting me of danger and giving me the opportunity to run away and get some help.
