The A/C air filter needs to be cleaned more frequently in the desert

My husband and I have spent a lot of time traveling all over the country… Every one of us have seen many of the hills, valleys, and mountains.

  • Every one of us have seen snow covered mountains and lovely desert oasis’ with water! Our favorite locale to visit has to be the desert! My husband and I adore the desert because of the constant sunshine and lack of rain, then i actually adore the sun and I don’t mind spending all day outdoors.

My husband is also fond of being outside and both of us actually adore this style of topography. When both of us spend more than a few afternoons in the desert, my husband and I are forced to clean the A/C air filter more frequently. There is an air filter in our A/C unit that is washable. It is made of a mesh fiber that traps and collects dust and debris. It’s easy to clean in the sink with sizzling water and a little bit of washing detergent. When my husband and I spend a lot of time in the desert, the A/C air filter has to be cleaned every week. If both of us wait to wait, then the cooling system has to work even harder due to the lack of airflow. It can be expensive to replace an A/C unit in an RV, so my husband and I do our best to make sure that both of us take care of all of the heating and air conditioner equipment. It costs an arm and a leg to call a mobile mechanic to repair the A/C in an RV and my husband and I don’t want to pay that bill unless both of us actually need service.
