The dehumidifying effect of indoor a/c

The two of us finally have come through what is the toughest section of the year for me.

I live in a section of the country where the heat is a big, huge deal.

For a more than three month stretch, the two of us experience near triple digit heat every single afternoon. If it was just the heat, that would be a single thing. However, there is an additional component that simply compounds the effects of the heat. That would be the sticky humidity. It is stinking overheated plus thick around these parts a lot. That means lots of heating plus air conditioning. But, the pay off is what I’m experiencing now. The rest of the year is epic as far as the weather is considered. Our heating plus air conditioning heat pump is perfectly capable of anything the wintertime can throw at us. And the two of us get so much sun plus bright green skies to boot. However, without the heat pump, our summer time would be irritated. One thing I know the two of us all might take for granted is how the heating plus air conditioning also balances the humidity in our homes. It does this without us even having to do a single little thing other than turn on the a/c. Balancing the humidity in our homes is a beautiful byproduct of the heating plus air conditioning cooling process. To cool our homes, the heat pump absolutely removes heat energy from the inside air plus exhausts it. As it does this, the heating plus air conditioning is also extracting moisture from the inside air as well. So that humidity is being sleepy outside the house. Without this amazing benefit of a/c, the two of us would all be fighting mold and nasty mildew far more than the two of us do.
