The ultimate indoor air quality thanks to HVAC addition

Walking in my home was something that I once sort of had a big batch of dread for.

It’s not the situation in my home or the people in it.

Actually, all of that has been wonderful and I count myself quite fortunate. What I wanted to do was to come home from work and relax in the HVAC a bit in our lovely home. But when I walked in the door, the ugly smell of the indoor air just smacked me right in the face. And it was unavoidable. My wife and I are very clean people. While we have a cat, she is also fastidious and isn’t the problem. However, when you mix in the litter box, the cooking odors and HVAC recycled, stale air all together, it’s not going to be pretty. And that was our situation. No amount of cleaning or bleaching countertops or any of that would really change things. It might smell a bit better for a few hours or maybe a day. But then it was right back to ugly smells. And it’s not like we didn’t try just about every deodorizer on the market. But they were all ultimately disappointing. Common sense says well, just open the window or a door for some fresh air right? Not where we live. It’s cold in the winter and scorching in the summer so the HVAC is running just about all the time. And we can’t afford to heat and cool the outside as well as inside our home. Finally, it got to the point that we had to ask for some help. My wife had the great idea to call the HVAC people as they were the indoor air experts. That’s what I did and sure enough, they were able to deliver the solution with a whole house air purifier.
