The warehouse AC is too cold for me

Some people want to climb Mount Everest or run a marathon, or write a novel.

Everyone has a different dream they are chasing.

My dream is to own the world’s greatest comic book collection. I usually tell people it’s an investment, and these comics will go up in value, and so forth, but in reality I couldn’t care less about the resale value. I want the comics, I want as many as possible. To wit, I had built my own private warehouse, with an industrial HVAC system in it. It’s also got a full two bedroom apartment on the second floor, but that isn’t why we have the HVAC system, that is for the comics and only the comics! It’s actually too cold for me personally most of the time, but the climate control is for the optimum condition of the comics, not my personal comfort. Friends come over to hang out all the time, and we always have to pick out the comics we want and bring them upstairs because the AC is too cold down there. Some nights I have to turn on the heater in my place, just to offset how deep the cooling is in the warehouse. Having such low humidity is great for the comics, but not great at all for me, so I tend to run a humidifier in my apartment most of the time. It may seem like a lot of work, all this HVAC foolishness I have to mess with every day, but to me it’s a small price to pay to live in a world of comics as far as the eye can see.
