I started to notice last week that there was a really stinky smell in the car but I wasn’t sure where it was coming from.
I was really starting to get annoyed about it but the only thing that I could do was roll the windows down and try to breathe in gulps of fresh air as I was driving along. Well, that didn’t work out too well for me for long because the weather has really been heating up around here recently and I couldn’t do without the air conditioning in the car for very long at all. I noticed that whenever I turned the air conditioning vents on with the windows rolled up, the smell became much worse. That made me start to think that there was some kind of issue with the air conditioning system or at least with the ventilation ductwork in the car. I was at the point where I could barely stand to ride back and forth to work in my own car because it smelled so bad, but I didn’t know what to do about it. I mean, when you have an issue with the heating and cooling system in your car, does that mean that you are supposed to call a mechanic to fix it or are you supposed to call a heating and air conditioning professional? It’s just something that I always have to think about. It’s a conundrum. I got a couple of air fresheners to stick into the car, and I put them right in front of the air vents. It worked for a couple of days but then I started smelling the yucky smell again. I finally gave up and called the garage.
