There is very little doubt that the people I was with and I are not the traditional style family.
My immediate family sure looks and acts different than the one I grew up with.
In our home, it’s expected and substantial to be just who you are. Both parents work and have different types of interests. The youngsters are tied up however still have time to be youngsters. It may look a bit different but it entirely works for us. A big part of our paradigm is getting out of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C comfort of home. Both of us are all big on taking long weekends to get out and hang out. Adventure is a substantial component of how the people I was with and I choose to live our lives. The youngsters are aged enough to join in on the planning and the people I was with and I just hit the road. Now that there is zone controlled heating & cooling in the car, everybody is comfortable. We try to allow for a bunch of spontaneity when the people I was with and I go on these vacations. However, the people I was with and I do have one rule that the people I was with and I stick to. It has to do with where the people I was with and I stay when the people I was with and I are on the road. It’s a unanimous decision to not stay in big hotels. There are 2 big reasons for this. The room rate cuts into my budget and the people I was with and I aren’t identifiably fond of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C in those hotels. That’s why it’s so simple to agree on staying in the awesome small hotels off the interstate. They are clean, comfortable and certainly sufficient. With that being said, they also have the most consistent Heating, Ventilation, and A/C of all our lodging experience. Those rooms are regularly heated and cooled to our total satisfaction.
