We needed a fence for the dog

When my wife and I chose to retire and moved south, we bought a little household that was in desperate need of renovations.

  • The kitchen and washrooms were really outdated.

The windows needed to be replaced, and there was a great deal of scrubbing and painting to do. One of our largest priorities was installing a fence around our property. The two of us have an Airedale puppy who enjoys being outside. She has a lot of energy and needs to run, dig holes and play fetch, and keeping her on a leash is nearly impossible. The two of us wanted to be able to let her outside into the backyard and make sure she would be easily safe and secure. This required a fence she could not dig under, squeeze through or leap over. The two of us realized we needed a professional fencing supplier to handle the job on an official level. I searched online for fencing companies in the nearby area and studied customer reviews. I chose a supplier that handles all the necessary permits and warranties their work. The girl showed up the next afternoon to look over our property. I explained the features we needed and she proposed an eight-foot tall wooden privacy fence. She easily provided an estimate, and we arranged an appointment for an upgrade of the fence the upcoming week. They brought in a crew of guys and the fence was up in a single afternoon. They created no mess in the least and handled the job hastily and professionally. Having a fence has added a great deal of value to our current household. The two of us simply waterproof the fence each year in the late Spring. It has been quite a few years now and the fence still looks pretty much like new.
