You have to save money, but draw the line somewhere

I really like to save money, but I have found that you have to draw the line somewhere when it comes to saving money.

I usually drive a crappy old car and I don’t ever have matching tires on it.

That kind of thing doesn’t bother me usually. I don’t care what people think about my car or my clothes or that type of thing. It’s really just no big deal for me. However, there is one thing that I feel like you absolutely have to draw the line on when you’re trying to save money. A couple of years ago, I thought that I would try and go the cheap route when it came to the heating and cooling company here in my house. Well, I ended up buying cheap air filters and that definitely affected the indoor air quality in the house. Usually I buy very expensive anti allergen HEPA filters. When I switched over to the cheaper ones, I was definitely saving quite a bit of money every month. However, I really wasn’t happy with the feel of the indoor air quality in the house. I guess it’s a give and take sort of thing. I also started to notice that the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working as well as it normally did. Then I read somewhere that having a cheap air filter can cause your A/C to stop performing to the best of their ability. I guess when it comes to saving money, you have to be willing to draw the line somewhere. I have figured out that the line for me is with the quality of the air filters that I buy.
