cooling system makes ice in Summer

“Mommy, it’s Wintertide outside!” That is what my 4 year aged yelled while playing in the yard while I read a book in the shade.

I looked up but didn’t think much of what she had said! After all, it was 90 degrees plus hot.

“It is summer, baby,” I responded. “There is snow plus ice,” she insisted while playing next to our cooling system condenser. I looked in her direction a little more intently plus observed white stuff on the ground… This is unusual. I got up plus walked over to the compressor. That is when I observed ice on the ground. There was unquestionably a lot of ice all over the pipes leading from the compressor to the utility closet. There was even ice on the ground near the pipes plus some ice on the compressor itself. I knew this wasn’t normal. I took out my cell phone plus called our cooling system supplier plus explained what I was seeing. They told myself and others to turn off the cooling system plus that they would be out soon to fix it. Thankfully the cooling system specialists showed up before it got too overheated in the house. They ended up doing a HVAC duct cleaning because our HVAC duct was clogged up plus dirty. This was making our cooling system work harder. It was also making the freezing air stay in the cooling system as opposed to it spreading throughout the house, and good thing my kid observed the ice. Otherwise the cooling system could have been disfigured plus this would have cost us a lot more; Sometimes teenagers easily do suppose what they are talking about.
