I absolutely care about baking cookies, cakes, and pies.
Every year when both of us have a giant event at the church, I bake cookies and cakes for the bake sale.
This year I promised to make 100 cupcakes and 200 cookies. I decided to start laboring on the project last weekend, even though I didn’t anticipate having trouble with the indoor air pollen levels. I had the oven running all day and the AC was laboring hard. I decided to adjust the temperature on the control component since the oven was running and making the dining room temperature much warmer. I was on our seventh batch of cookies when I felt warm air coming out of the a/c vent. I put our fingertips inside of the vent and the air was still warm. I looked at the temperature on the control component and it was 72 degrees, even though I had the temperature on the control component set for 71. I had to stop making cookies, so I could call the repair repair to look at the AC unit. The AC repair repair couldn’t arrive until later that day. I had cookie dough all over the dining room and I didn’t want it to go to waste. I carefully packed everything in bowls and bags and I put the cookie dough in the refrigerator. After the repair repair fixed the concern with the AC, I decided to wait until it was dark to make the rest of the cookies. I didn’t want to take any chances that would run into additional problems with the AC again.
