We are lucky to live in a place that is sort of renown for having four very distinct seasons.
It’s almost as though the four seasons are almost perfectly spaced out.
This makes for a lovely year. When you’re about sick of one season, the next one is beginning. And we’re lucky to have heating and cooling like we do. Our winters aren’t dreadfully cold but they need HVAC heating for months at a time. Conversely, the summers aren’t as blazing as some other regions but we use the air conditioning through the teeth of summer. What works out great is that we can get all that heating and cooling from just on piece of HVAC equipment. The heat pump is all we need to take care of whatever heating and cooling need we might face. And that is awesome too. We have never had a cold snap that was too cold for the heat pump. While we may throw and extra quilt on the bed, we can count on the heating from the heat pump to keep the house nicely warmed. During the summer, the heat pump moves the heat out of the house. That’s what it’s designed to do. This process allows cooler air to take the place of the heat that the heat pump moves out. But we also get a bonus from this HVAC cooling process. The heat pump is also balancing the humidity in the house. It’s taking a big chunk of moisture out of the house as it moves the heat energy. We really are in a great spot. I love the seasons and I love the HVAC heat pump.
