I have constantly suffered from mild dyslexia.
I have a lot of trouble reading and writing and that is due to the fact that my numbers and letters apapple forwards and backwards.
I had a hard time in school and I knew that school was not the right answer for me. I had to find a way to make currency and support myself, and I found a technical school with a program for Heating, Ventilation & A/C certification. I talked to the support staff about my concerns with dyslexia and the professors in most of my classes made it possible for myself and others to have extra time to take my tests, then some of my professors allowed myself and others to take an oral exam inside of a written test! Unfortunately for me, I was not allowed to have any special provisions when it came time to take the certification for my Heating, Ventilation & A/C services license. I was up all evening on the evening before the exam. I could barely sleep at all and I was feeling honestly nervous and anxious. My lady tried to get myself and others to relax, however I was so nervous that I was shaking. I was harshly distraught that I would not be able to pass the Heating, Ventilation & A/C certification test. I knew that I could take the exam a second or second time if I failed on the first attempt, however I didn’t want to take the test numerous times. I knew the information and I wanted to score high on the test on the first try. I barely slept a wink that evening, however I woke up the next day, bright, awake and ready to take the test.
