The apartment maintenance team did not fix the problem

My girlfriend and I woke up with sweat and perspiration all over our head and neck.

Neither one of us felt the cool air coming out of the air vents.

I got out of bed and I immediately went to check the thermostat. It was clear that the air conditioner was not working properly, so I contacted the apartment manager. I knew she could help with the issue. I left three messages before someone contacted me back. My girlfriend and I had to go to work, but the apartment manager assured both of us that the air conditioner problem would be fixed before we got home from work later that afternoon. Both of us thought that would be the end of the issue, but when you came home from work. There was a note on our door to contact the manager. My girlfriend was the first person to arrive home and she immediately called the manager for more information. We found out that the air conditioner needed a part that they did not have in stock. The maintenance supervisor ordered the air conditioner part and it was going to arrive the next day. The manager told us that our air conditioner was first priority in the morning. My girlfriend and I thought about going to a hotel for the night, but we decided to stay home. We turned on all of the ceiling fans in the apartment and we used two fans in our bedroom. We were very thankful that the air conditioner was repaired the next day as promised.
