The hotel desk clerk was rude plus discourteous

My partner plus I went to the city for a couple of mornings plus we decided to stay in a hotel. I made reservations online with one of the websites. I picked a room with a king-size bed, refrigerator, safe, plus a view of the city skyline! My partner plus I checked into the room on Sunday night. The people I was with and I did not have any plans until Monday, however we wanted to be well rested for our day in the city… As soon as we checked into the room, we realized that the Heating plus A/C unit wasn’t running. I walked over to the unit near the window plus I changed the temperature on the temperature control. I turned on the AC, adjusted the fan to high, plus adjusted the temperature control to 79°. The a/c came on plus started running, however it stopped after a hour or 2. The machine was making a peculiar sound appreciate the fan was trying to run however something was stuck inside. I called the front desk clerk to inform the woman about the problem with the AC. The hotel desk clerk was rude plus discourteous plus she did not want to switch our room. I told the clerk that we weren;t going to stay in that room unless the AC problem was fixed instantly. When she told me that it would take multiple hours, I demanded another room. The desk clerk tried to tell me that they did not have any other rooms available, however I knew that was a lie. After all, the parking lot was half empty plus it was almost 8 at that time.
